West Coast Swing Beginners

West Coast Swing Beginner courses start at the beginning of each month. The Level 1 Foundation course is a 4-week course that covers the basics of West Coast Swing, including the 8 basics of West Coast Swing, basic handholds, how to keep time to music, the structure of the dance, and the roles of the leader and follower.

The courses are taught in friendly and welcoming groups, so you’ll quickly make new friends to practice with. No partner or previous experience is necessary. Flat or low-heeled, smooth-soled shoes are recommended.

EastonSwing’ Level 1 Foundation West Coast Swing course is comprised of 8 moves. In this introduction to WCS we will focus on the concept of connection to your partner and to the music.

Brand new to WCS? then join us for Level 1. If you’ve done a little bit of WCS already but still seeking confidence in your dancing then join us for Level 2. There will be different instructors for each level. We will all be working within 1 room and taking breaks at the same time.
