London West Coast Swing Gathering is EastonSwing preparing to reopen doors to our venues. Starting with this new style workshop and social event. 2 weeks later, Monday 31st August we hope that we might be able to resume weekly class events. The global pandemic situation we’re all facing is still fluid and there is a chance that we may need to scale back our plans come September/October time.
If you are still self isolating or shielding family members then you have our total support and we look forward to seeing you back at class when the time is right.
This event will have a slightly different format from the past usual set up. Below the schedule for the day you will see all of our new guidelines and requirements for you to attend this workshop day.

EastonSwing Covid-19 Restrictions and guidelines (Gratefully copied from Kieron Moore with permission =)
Social distancing measures mean that we’re unable to rotate or switch partners like we often do. If you wish to attend you must book with a partner from your household or support bubble.
Below are the government rules on Support Bubbles:
You should only have close contact with people outside of your household if you are in a support bubble with them.
You should only meet people you do not live with in 3 types of groups:
1 – you can continue to meet in any outdoor space in a group of up to 6 people from different households
2 – single adult households – in other words adults who live alone or with dependent children only – can continue to form an exclusive ‘support bubble’ with one other household
3 – you can also meet in a group of 2 households (anyone in your support bubble counts as one household), in any location public or private, indoors or outdoors. This does not need to be the same household each time.
To attend our event you must book in advance using our online booking system. There will be no cash or card payments taken at the venue.
This is in place so we have a record of who will be attending prior to the event. As numbers are limited to 20 people per session we expect each session to sell quickly so please be prepared for this.
Dancers are not required to wear PPE to attend, however you are very welcome to wear a mask if you prefer. Once inside the venue you must obey social distancing rules at all times. Please do not wear gloves.
