The teacher development classes are designed to help build confidence in existing and prospective West Coast Swing dance teachers. Whether you wish to teach under our ‘banner’, if you plan to start your own group, or possibly you’re interested to learn what it takes to become a WCS instructor. There is lots to be gained from this series of workshops.
Each class is a 3 hour session working on improving observation, vocalisation and demonstration skills. Practicing methodlogy, musicality and discussing how WCS evolved to become the dance that it is today.
You should bring notepads or notebooks and expect there to be less dancing than when attending a regular WCS workshop set up.
