West Coast Swing Reading
In 2023, we are bringing our workshop project to the Reading region. Offering West Coast Swing workshops for new and experienced dancers to further develop their WCS methods and techniques. This project is in collaboration with Jenny Brown and other local dancers who are trying to build the WCS community in the area.
2023 Workshop Dates
3rd September
8th October
5th November
Bootcamp Workshop | Level 1 & 2 | Those that are brand new and relatively new to West Coast Swing.
Focus Workshop | Picking 1 topic and focusing the session around that. Suitable for those that have completed Level 1 Foundations.
Expansion Workshop | Expanding on your basic patterns and techniques to connect more with your partner and the music. Suitable for those that have completed Level 1 Foundations.
Schedule
1-3pm | Bootcamp Workshop – Levels 1 & 2, Ideal for brand new dancers and those in their 1st 9 months of WCS
3-5pm | Expansion Workshop – Levels 2/3, Should be confident in L1 and attending Parties
6-9pm | Super Sunday Reading – Early Evening WCS dance party.
Cost(Increases 7 days before event)

Party | £10/£12
Party is discounted 50% when booking for 1 workshop (both need to be in basket)
If attending both workshops then take the bundle option which includes the party free of charge.

The studio is located above Iceland in the middle of Woodley precinct and the entrance to the studio is at the end of the passageway to the right of Iceland and public parking is available in Lytham Road anb in the Waitrose car park.
