EastonSwing Cambridge – West Coast Swing Tuesday is suitable for people brand new to dancing. Or to more experienced dancers looking to try out this fascinating style of swing dancing. The night consists up of 3 classes taught with breaks for practice and socialising before during and after classes.
The night begins with the Progressive class that is for our most experienced dancers at weekly classes. Followed by the Fundamentals WCS class, ideal for new dancers but equally important for experienced dancers too. Our final class of the evening is our Improver class which begins to develop your fundamentals and bridge the gap to the progressive class.
West Coast Swing Tuesday has been running in Cambridge for 2 years and previously was on a Wednesday hosted by Mary Pearson. Mary still attends classes but asked us to take over the group in 2018. The Cambridge group is relatively young and very enthusiastic about learning.
This product allows you to book a seasonal terms at our Tuesday night class. Our terms vary in length of 10-12 classes. We break these terms into blocks of 3 or 4 weeks practicing the same material.
All of our classes are based upon our Level system which is outlined in our West Coast Swing Notebook Levels 1-3. We recommend that if your planning to take classes with us that you pick one of these up. It can give you a broad insight into the terminology and methodology used to build confident West Coast Swing dancers.
